About a week ago, on the 1st or the 2nd, I realized that we hadn't had any snow yet where I live.  We had a light dusting a few weeks ago, but it melted the same day.  I'm really nostalgic--Christmas lights, snow, caroling, etc., so I was really hoping for a white Christmas.  I decided to pray about it; you know, one of those silly little prayers that you pray sometimes, thinking in the back of your mind that it's too small a thing for the Lord to really care about it.

Well...look outside.

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the temper,

31 Days of Song, Day #19

I don't love the song "White Christmas", but it's fun to sing about once a December.  I wanted to post it for today because it's six days 'til Christmas, and we got about another foot of snow today!  So it looks like we'll be having a white Christmas after all.

I'm thankful that God knows what's going to happen in North Korea now that Kim John Il has died.  It's a pretty uncertain future for the country, but He has it in His hand.

One of my favorite things about Christmas music is actually singing it, so yesterday I recorded my own version of "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" because I love the song so much, and I know the way I like it best. :) Here's that video.

We got a foot of snow last night!  Even though I don't have classes on Monday, school was canceled for today, so I'm hoping it'll be canceled tomorrow too.  I have an exam. :)
